WFC-LFC Pro Bowl Brief Bowl XI: ESK vs FFF

Week 17

31.12.07 - LFC No-Shows At Pro Bowl
  • Nothing else left to say.
25.12.07 - FFF Finds Rendleman Trophy Under Christmas Tree
  • Dallas ClarkDespite all that makes sense, the Fat French Ferrets captured their first title by virtue of the first ever Monday Night comeback in Brief Bowl history. FFF entered the season's final night trailing the Pies by 5, but by the end of the night, the foot of San Diego's Nate Kaeding had overcome ESK's QB (Philip Rivers) and TE (last week's Macho Player of the Week, Tony Scheffler) to secure the Rendleman Trophy.
  • FFF parade down the Champs ElyseesLest we forget, Le Gros Furet de Français protected the Chicago Bears DST as a franchise player (a league first), then twice tried to draft another team's franchise player with their first pick in the Draft. They then forget to start their best player (Steve Smith) for the Brief Bowl. And yet, the Rendleman Trophy is headed for a parade down the Champs Elysees.
  • Finally, the pièce de résistance proving the Fantasy Football Gods were behind this victory: the aforementioned Chicago Bears DST, FFF's franchise player, scored 23 pts -- the second-highest total in Brief Bowl history. The Bears did so from the bench.
  • ESK's come-from-ahead loss was their first Brief Bowl loss in four appearances, and only the second loss for the WFC/Western Division ever.
